‘‘Puratthimasmiṃ disābhāge, gaṅgā nāma mahānadī;
Mahāsamuddamappeti, tato tvaṃ pānīyaṃ harā’’ti.
In the Eastern quarter a mighty river known as the Ganges
Empties into the Great Ocean. Fetch water thence.
