Na jaṭāhīti imaṃ dhammadesanaṃ satthā jetavane viharanto ekaṃ jaṭilabrāhmaṇaṃ ārabbha kathesi.
It is not matted locks. This religious instruction was given by the Teacher while he was in residence at Jetavana with reference to a certain Brahman who wore matted locks.
