Na hi pāpaṃ kataṃ kammanti imaṃ dhammadesanaṃ satthā veḷuvane viharanto aññataraṃ ahipetaṃ ārabbha kathesi.
*For an evil deed, once done.* This religious instruction was given by the Teacher while he was in residence at Veḷuvana with reference to a certain snake-ghost.
