Atha naṃ ‘‘evarūpassa tava kathaṃ gharāvāso ijjhissatī’’ti garahanto siṅgilo imaṃ gāthādvayamāha –
The bird thought, “To live in a house would never do for one like you.” And out of scorn for the monkey he pronounced the two following Stanzas,
