‘‘Yattheko labhate babbu, dutiyo tattha jāyati;
Tatiyo ca catuttho ca, idaṃ te babbukā bila’’nti. (jā. 1.1.137) –

Where one cat is found, there a second appears,
And a third, and a fourth; this is the hole those cats sought.
