yāvad eva anatthāya ñattaṃ bālassa jāyati /
hanti bālassa sukkaṃsaṃ muddham assa vipātayaṃ. //
And when the evil deed, after it has become known, brings sorrow to the fool, then it destroys his bright lot, nay, it cleaves his head.
