Abhivādanasīlissa,
niccaṃ vuḍḍhāpacāyino;
Cattāro dhammā vaḍḍhanti,
āyu vaṇṇo sukhaṃ balaṃ.
He who always greets and constantly reveres the aged, four things will increase to him, viz. life, beauty, happiness, power.
