Uttiṭṭhe nappamajjeyya,
dhammaṃ sucaritaṃ care;
Dhammacārī sukhaṃ seti,
asmiṃ loke paramhi ca.
Rouse thyself! do not be idle! Follow the law of virtue! The virtuous rests in bliss in this world and in the next.
