Appalābhopi ce bhikkhu,
salābhaṃ nātimaññati;
Taṃ ve devā pasaṃsanti,
suddhājīviṃ atanditaṃ.
A Bhikshu who, though he receives little, does not despise what he has received, even the gods will praise him, if his life is pure, and if he is not slothful.
