Mettāvihārī yo bhikkhu,
pasanno buddhasāsane;
Adhigacche padaṃ santaṃ,
saṅkhārūpasamaṃ sukhaṃ.
The Bhikshu who acts with kindness, who is calm in the doctrine of Buddha, will reach the quiet place (Nirvâna), cessation of natural desires, and happiness.
