Kiṃ te jaṭāhi dummedha,
kiṃ te ajinasāṭiyā;
Abbhantaraṃ te gahanaṃ,
bāhiraṃ parimajjasi.
What is the use of platted hair, O fool! what of the raiment of goat-skins? Within thee there is ravening, but the outside thou makest clean.
