Atha kho vāseṭṭhabhāradvājā māṇavā yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkamiṃsu; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavatā saddhiṃ sammodiṃsu.
'As people adoring the full moon worship (her) with uplifted clasped hands, so (they worship) Gotama in the world. (598)
