Seyyathāpi, brāhmaṇa, dakkho assadammako bhaddaṃ assājānīyaṃ labhitvā paṭhameneva mukhādhāne kāraṇaṃ kāreti, atha uttariṃ kāraṇaṃ kāreti;
Suppose a deft horse trainer were to obtain a fine thoroughbred. First of all he’d make it get used to wearing the bit.
