“sādhu me, bhante, bhagavā saṅkhittena dhammaṃ desetu …pe… vihareyyan”ti.

“Sir, may the Buddha please teach me Dhamma in brief. When I’ve heard it, I’ll live alone, withdrawn, diligent, keen, and resolute.”
