بر سرش حق نهاد افسر ملک زانکه داند که کیست درخور ملک

at whose borders the sultans of the past throughout long lifetimes had arrived only with the feet of desire and longing: "And God singles out for His mercy whom He wills, and God is all-encompassing, all-knowing."
