69.107

پادشاه پرسید: چیست؟ وزیر گفت: در خانهٔ‌ پادشاه سراندیپ دختری است که آن را بههنگام قهر یادشاه چین بهدست آورده است که به حسن آفت جان و به لطافت نشئهآ جهان است، زلف شبرنگ پای کشانش در درازی شب قیامت را مدد دهد، روی جانبخش به کمال حسن از مه شب چهارده تاوان ستاند، گل لعل از رشک رخسار چون بهار او رنگ میآرد، صد بر گ خجالت طراوت عارض زیر نگین او چون سمن زرد میشود:

he acquired at the time of the subjection of the king of China, who in beauty is a plague to the soul and in delicacy an intoxication to the world.
Her night-colored, trailing tresses give aid in length to the night of Resurrection; her soul-reviving face in the perfection of
beauty exacts compensation from the full moon of the fourteenth night; the ruby rose gains color from envy of her spring-like cheek;
the hundred-petaled rose turns yellow like jasmine from shame before the freshness of her cheek, under her signet-ring.
