و تن در بوته نوایر ر صدمف نوایب داد7 و شربتهای تلخ و شیرین کردش افلاک به رغبتی تمام تجرع نمود و دردی درد با صفای عیش مهنا نوش کرد و گلرار ارزو از خار8 خجلت پیراسته گردانید و بر9 امید دیدن0 چهرة مراد به اذیال صبر تمسک نمود و دست مساعدت در گردن سپهر بی شفقت کرد و با زمانە11آ جافی شیوه سازکاری12 بر دست گرفت و روی از راء ستیزه کاری با ابلق دهر حرود برتافت و در شمول حوادث البلیه اذا عمب طابت برحواند و به فحواتی حدیت3 اشتدی ازمنة بفرحی امیدوار بود

and to place oneself in the crucible of flaming events and the impact of calamities, and with complete willingness to swallow the bitter and sweet drafts of the turnings
of the heavens, and to drink the dregs of pain along with the purity of wholesome living, and to clear the rose-garden
of hope from the thorns of shame, and in the hope of beholding the face of desire to grasp the skirts of patience,
and to cast the hand of compromise around the neck of the merciless heavens, and toward the cruel times
to adopt the habit of reconciliation, and to turn the face away from the path of contention with the piebald horse of time;
and in the encompassment of misfortunes to recite: ‘Calamity, when it becomes widespread, becomes light,’ and in accordance with the purport of the tradition:
‘Tighten, O crisis, so that you may open up,’ to remain hopeful:
