ازیور صفا آراسته است، واجب شناخت و استماع این1 نافعثر2 از نتایج محبت و نمرات مودت دانست3 و شرط التدییر قبل الوقوع فی البنر به جای اورد4 ومورت طبع عقیم وخاطر سقیم به منابت لواقح و علاج و منزلت مداوات شمرد و مضمون7 لاصواب مع ترک المشهورة به حاطر گذرانید و فایدة من استشار اولی الالباب نزل فی ابواب الصواب8 عمدة حصول مراد شناخت وسر نن یهلک امرء عن مشورة به کوض دل فروخوند و نص و شاوزهن فی الآمر9 نصبالعین10 کردانید و در مذهب اخلاص و قانون اختصاص کذام عاقل رخصت بیند، که ار مصاحبت دوستان یک دل و یاران11 موافق دوری جوید و بر منور یگانگی طغرای بیگانگی و رقم بی شفقتی کشد13 و عهدنامهآ دو سنی راکطی السجل للککنب در نوردد15 و بر عیار الفت غبار و حشت اختیار کند16 و زنگ117 تغیر به آیینهآ مودت راه دهد18 و نیرنگ بی التفاتی بر روی روزکار بی رنگ مخلصان زند19 و نقش سکه مصافات برقرار نگذارد0 و قدم از دایرة و فابه صحرای جفا نهد21 و از جادة وداد و نهج اتحاد یک سو شود23 و از زور سیری هر روز دست23 به شاحی دیکر زدن عادت کیرد2 و با طایفه نو پیش از استکشاف اخبر من نقل نه25 و امتثال اشارت6 نق بانناس رویدا الفتی نازه پیش کیرد27 و باک ندارد28 که به واسطة درری طول

the ornament of purity; he considered listening to this benefit as one of the results of love and the fruits of affection,
and fulfilled the condition of ‘reflection before falling into the pit’, and deemed the advice of a barren nature and a sick heart as a fertile ground for fecundation, a remedy, and the rank of medicine;
and he brought to mind the import of ‘there is no sound policy when consultation is abandoned’,
and recognized the utility of ‘whoever consults those endowed with intellect alights at the gates of correctness’ as the pillar for attaining his desire,
and listened with the ear of his heart to the secret of ‘no person perishes through consultation’,
and set before his eyes the text: ‘And consult them in the affair.’
And in the creed of sincerity and the law of special attachment, what intelligent person would permit himself
to seek distance from the company of single-hearted friends and harmonious companions, to draw the mark of estrangement
and the inscription of unmercifulness across the document of oneness, and to roll up the covenant of friendship like the rolling up of the scroll for books?”
roll up, and choose the dust of estrangement over the purity of intimacy, and allow the rust of change onto the mirror of friendship,
and cast the deception of indifference across the pale countenance of the fortunes of the sincere, and leave the imprint of the coin
of purity of affection unstable, and step outside the circle of fidelity into the wilderness of cruelty, and turn aside from the highway of affection and
the path of harmony, and make it a habit, out of sheer satiety, to grasp a different branch each day,
and initiate a new attachment with a new faction before investigating whether 'one who related [the news] has not been proved false' and obeying the precept
'trust people gently', and not care that, because of lengthy absence,
