The beginning of this year corresponded with Thursday, 17th Zi-l ka'da, 981 H. (11th March, 1574 A.D.)
After paying his visit to the tomb of the holy Khwaja, who is the helper and protector of kings, the Emperor started on his return from Ajmir on the 23rd Zi-l ka'da. Hunting as he went along, he arrived at Fathpur on the 17th Zi-l hijja.
