but ' still there remains no difference on the subject betwixt the ' opinions of the adorers of gold, and those of the men of sense ' and penetration ; both parties agree in distinguishing the man ' of merit from the man of the crowd ; nor do they mistake his ' worth." — But we have spoken enough of private concerns ; let us revert now to the affairs of State.
