Page 746 — " — Kara bash khan aykin = the man named Kara kash Khan. Kara kash = black eyebrow, is a frequently-used proper name.”
Undoubtedly it is the name of a man, and may mean the Black-eyebrowed, but what does Aet-kin mean? The former is also written Kara kush.
Page 748 — “instead of — altunyay [yahi?] = the golden bow.”
Ikhtiyar-ud-Din of the Golden bow is not inapplicable, but the word signifying gold is written either or with long a — 1.
