Because it is permeated individually by non-difference, the difference of the universe is false,
as that of the moon among water-waves.
For there, in each and every one, there is the connection of non-difference as 'the moon'; likewise, even in the difference of the universe, in each and every one there is the connection of non-difference as 'this', 'that', 'object', 'entity'.
The difference of trees, on the other hand, although not false, the recurrence of non-difference as 'a forest' is not in each and every one.
For there is no cognition as 'a forest' in each individual tree.
Hence there is no deviation on account of that.
And it is for this purpose that 'individually' is said.
