3.59

atha mānāntarājjñātvā prayuṅkte puruṣo vacaḥ /
arthe tattena tanniṣṭhamitarattvanyathā sthitam //

If [it is said that] a person employs a sentence having known the object from another means of valid cognition, / and because of that it is devoted to that, whereas the other is established differently— //
