3.76

na ca mānāvagamyatvamastīti viṣayo mataḥ /
mānādeva yato buddhirabhūdasti bhaviṣyati //

Nor is being cognised by a means of valid cognition held to be the object of [the thought] “it exists”,
for it is from a means of valid cognition itself that the cognition “it was”, “it exists”, or “it will be” arises. //
