maivaṃ vocaḥ/ avinaśyatoḥ sahāvasthānaniṣedhe ’pi vinaśyadavinaśyatoḥ sahāvasthānasyāniṣiddhatvena nirantarotpannayos tadupapatteḥ/

do not speak thus; for although the coexistence of two non-perishing [cognitions] is negated, the coexistence of a perishing [cognition] and a non-perishing [cognition] is not negated, and so that is established for two [cognitions] arising immediately one after the other.
