tad etad riktaṃ vacaḥ/ ahamanubhavād anyasyātmajñānasya mūṣikaviṣāṇāyamānatvāt/

then this is an empty statement, because any knowledge of the self other than the 'I'-experience behaves like a mouse's horn [i.e., is entirely fictional].
