ata eva bhāṣyakāraḥ śuktikā rajatavad avabhāsata ekaś candraḥ sadvitīyavad iti nidarśanadvayam udājahāra/ śiṣṭaṃ śāstra eva spaṣṭam iti vistarabhiyoparamyate/ evaṃ ca dṛgdṛśyau dvāv eva padārthāv iti vedāntināṃ siddhānta iti sarvam avadātam/
For this very reason the author of the commentary cited two examples: 'mother-of-pearl appears like silver' and 'the single moon appears as if accompanied by a second'. The rest is clear in the scripture itself, so we cease for fear of prolixity. And thus, that there are only two categories—the seer and the seen—is the settled conclusion of the Vedāntins; so all is clear.
