“Singing” is sacrifice and the like. “Singing forth” is knowledge, meditation, and the like, because of the Lord's statement: “Better than sacrifice made of material things is the sacrifice of knowledge, O scorcher of foes!”
You who love sacrifices, sing! You who love knowledge, sing forth! “Young sons,” even the small ones, sing!
And [as stated]: “One should not cause a disruption of understanding in the ignorant who are attached to action; the wise person, practicing attentively, should cause them to enjoy all actions.”
