'There is nowhere any division of body and embodied soul in the Supreme Lord, / nor a division between quality and the possessor of the quality; for the scripture says: "There is no diversity here at all"'—thus in the Padma Purāṇa.
'By the distinct knowledge of Him, the wise perceive that which shines forth as immortal and of the nature of bliss.'
And from such scriptures as: 'Whose body is joy, who has the fragrance of bliss, whose splendour is knowledge, whose prowess is true; / who is the knowledge of knowledge, the bliss of bliss—He is Viṣṇu, the supreme, imperishable.'
