caturthādhikaraṇaṃ bhāṣyamatenā''racayati -
ācāntenetyamā mā vā smṛtireṣā na mā bhavet |
vedaṃ kṛtveti yaḥ śrautaḥ kramastena virodhataḥ ||

He composes the fourth topical section according to the opinion of the commentary: / Is this tradition, "[it should be done] by one who has sipped water," valid or not valid? It must not be valid, / because of conflict with the direct Vedic sequence, "Having made the veda..."
