Mimamsasutra 3.2.23

3.2.23

saptamādhikaraṇamāracayati -
apauruṣeyāḥ kalpādyāḥ kṛtrimā vā na kṛtrimāḥ |
śrutismatyordharmabuddheḥ svato mātvaṃ yataḥ samam ||

He frames the seventh topical section: / Are the Kalpasūtras and the like authorless, or artificial? They are not artificial, / Because, since awareness of dharma arises from direct Vedic statement and tradition, intrinsic validity is equal [in both].
