ṣoḍaśādhikaraṇamāracayati-
tayordharmāḥ samucceyā na vā kaṇvarathaṃtare |
dvisthānatvādbhāṣya ādyo virodhādvārtike'ntimaḥ ||
He sets forth the sixteenth topical section:
Should the ritual details of both be combined in the Kaṇvarathaṃtara or not?
Because it occupies the place of both, the former view is given in the Commentary; because of contradiction, the latter view is given in the Vārttika.
