dvitīyādhikaraṇamāracayati-
haritoktiḥ pauṇḍarīke na tyājyā tyajyate'thavā |
nādṛṣṭārthatvato maivaṃ guṇidravyasya bhāsanāt ||
He formulates the second topical section:
Is the word “green” not to be discarded in [the rite with] lotuses, or is it discarded?
Not [discarded], because of having an unobservable purpose; not so, because of manifesting the substance possessing the quality.
