dvādaśaśātaṃ vā deyam iti. prakṛtivat kartavyam. jyotiṣṭomaś ca prakṛtiḥ. tatra dharmā vihitāḥ, na viśvajiti kṛtsnāḥ pratīyante. tasmād dvādaśaśatam atra deyam iti.

Or rather, one hundred and twelve is to be given. It must be performed as in the archetype. And the Jyotiṣṭoma is the archetype. There the properties are enjoined; they are not understood in their entirety in the Viśvajit. Therefore, one hundred and twelve is to be given here.
