You establish non-otherness in relation to what is other; and having established it, you reject what is other, yet accept the word 'non-other', and you employ this compound word 'non-other'. This word 'other' is compounded with a negation. And if here the subsequent member does not exist, with what is this compound formed by negation? Therefore, of those two words 'other' and 'non-other', the one word 'non-other' is established in dependence upon the other word 'other'. Thus, what was said—'there is non-existence of otherness'—that is improper.
