When another substance, curd, is perceived as originated from an arrangement of parts characterized by coagulation, it is inferred that the previous substance, milk, has ceased through the disjunctions of its parts; just as when another substance, a dish, is originated from another arrangement of parts of clay, the previous substance, a lump of clay, ceases through the disjunctions of parts of clay. And, as in the case of clay, there is continuation of parts in milk and curd; the origination of another substance does not occur without continuation upon complete cessation. //16
