buddhīndriyāṇi cakṣuḥśrotraghrāṇarasanasparśanakāni /
vākpāṇipādapāyūpasthān karmendriyāṇyāhuḥ //
The faculties of cognition are the eye, the ear, the nose, the tongue, and the skin;
they call speech, hands, feet, the anus, and the genitals the faculties of action. //
