Verses on Sāṃkhya 1.4

1.4

kapilāya namas tasmai yenāvidyodadhau jagati magne /
kāruṇyāt sāṅkhyamayī naur iha vihitā prataraṇāya // 2 //

Homage to that Kapila, by whom, when the world was submerged in the ocean of ignorance,
out of compassion a boat consisting of Sāṅkhya was prepared here for crossing over. // 2
