bhedānāṃ parimāṇāt samanvayāc chaktitaḥ pravṛtteś ca /
kāraṇakāryavibhāgād avibhāgād vaiśvarūpyasya //
[Primordial matter exists] from the finite measure of specific individuals, from continuity, from activity through potency, / from the distinction between cause and effect, and from the undividedness of the multiform world. //
