"tat tapaḥ sa japaḥ sā dhīs taj jñānaṃ sā ca vaiduṣī /
yato naiva nipātaḥ syād antaḥsaṃsārasāgaram" //
"That is austerity, that is recitation, that is intellect, that is knowledge, and that is scholarship
from which there would never be a fall into the midst of the ocean of transmigration."
