Verses on Sāṃkhya 35.2

35.2

buddhīndriyāṇi teṣāṃ pañca viśeṣāviśeṣaviṣayāṇi /
vāg bhavati śabdaviṣayā śeṣāny api pañcaviṣayāṇi //

Among these, the five sensory faculties have specific and non-specific objects;
voice has sound as its object, while the rest also have five objects. //
