citraṃ yathāśrayamṛte sthāṇvādibhyo vinā yathā chāyā /
tadvad vināviśeṣais tiṣṭhati na nirāśrayaṃ liṅgam //
Just as a painting does not exist without a support, or just as a shadow does not exist without a post and the like, / so without specific elements the subtle body, being without a support, does not remain. //
