bhedas tamaso 'ṣṭavidho mohasya ca daśavidho mahāmohaḥ /
tāmisro 'ṣṭādaśadhā tathā bhavaty andhatāmisraḥ //

The variety of obscurity is eightfold, and also of delusion; extreme delusion is tenfold; / gloom is eighteenfold, and so also is blinding gloom. //
