saptatyāṃ kila ye 'rthās te 'rthāḥ kṛtsnasya ṣaṣṭitantrasya /
ākhyāyikāvirahitāḥ paravādavivarjitāś cāpi //
The topics that are in the [Sāṃkhya] Seventy are indeed the topics of the entire Ṣaṣṭitantra, / [though] stripped of narrative tales and devoid of the refutations of rival doctrines.
The topics in the Seventy are those of the whole Ṣaṣṭitantra, without the illustrative stories and without the controversies with others.
