ahiṇavakayambagandhaṁ, agghāēūṇa mūḍhamaṇahiyayā
jē amuṇiyaparamatthā, bhamanti tatthēva pahiyagaṇā

Having inhaled the fragrance of fresh kadamba blossoms, with minds and hearts bewildered, / those groups of travelers, not knowing the highest truth, wandered in that very place.
