11.6

suṇiūṇa jannavayaṇaṁ, pucchaï magahāhivō muṇipasatthaṁ
jannassa samuppattī, kahēhi bhayavaṁ! pariphuḍaṁ mē

Hearing the mention of sacrifice, the lord of Magadha asked the praiseworthy sage: / “O holy one! Explain clearly to me the origin of sacrifice.”
