jaï vi ya imō mahānasa!, sōgō dukkhēhiṁ muścaï hayāsō
taha vi ya avasēṇa tumē, mōttavō amha vayaṇēṇaṁ

“Even though, O great-souled one, this wretched sorrow is dispelled only with difficulty, / nevertheless, helplessly, you must abandon it at our word.”
