tō bhaṇaï sīradhārī, kattō kusalaṁ mahaṁ apuṇṇassa
niyayaṁ tu tāṇa kusalaṁ, bāṇa daḍhā niṇavarē bhattī

Then the plough-wielder said: "Whence can there be welfare for me, an unvirtuous one? / Welfare belongs truly to those whose devotion to the supreme Jina is firm."
