paḍupaḍahatūrasadaṁ, na suṇaï sō sammuhaṁ pi vajantaṁ
na ya uṭṭēi mahappā, sējjāē apuṇṇakālammi
he does not hear the loud beat of war-drums sounding right in front of him; / and that great being does not rise from his bed when the time is unfulfilled.
