ēvaṁvihē ya nayarē, vasaï nivō tattha sēṇiō nāma
naravaïguṇēhi juttō, vēsamaṇō cēva pañcakkhō

And in such a city lived a king named Śreṇika, / endowed with the virtues of a lord of men, Vaiśravaṇa visible to the eyes;
